Friends of Camp Hollis!
It’s Winter Already?
It feels like winter out there alright…I finally decided to turn up the heat in the apartment and I’m feeling a bit more cozy. I feel as though I’m not so distracted by my feet being ice cold and trying to manage covering every inch of myself with a blanket (that is too small to even do such a thing)..while I’m on my laptop of course. Maybe I will accomplish a bit more! I’ve been contemplating what I should do for the third project. Although I am definitely not a professional photographer I want to showcase my photos that I have taken over time. Pictures show a lot about yourself and I plan to share a little bit of myself through them. I took a Begining Photography class that was based on black and white traditional photography. The type you do in a dark room. That class was definitely challenging at the begining but I really enjoyed it a lot. One picture that I shot that came out really well was of my Mom. And I definitely want that one to be on my site. Besides the content on the site, I will experiment with the layout because I want to possibly use it as a template for my portfolio site that I will create. But for now I’ll just go with the flow!

I hate rain.
I hate rain on a day like today. It makes you want to go to sleep when you should be working…like on the Camp Hollis website! Today we were suppose to meet with Vicki but that was canceled…but not because of the rain! We are on our way with our website and have all the rollover/links working in dreamweaver
Day off
Well today is our day off and I’m finishing up the rest of the images for each page for this project. I can’t wait till this project is done..its more creative than any site I created in Web Design I.
This week…
Well this week is consisted of lots of work…but one thing I know slicing is sort of annoying lol. I plan to get my index page and more done this week.
Client Project
So I was chosen to create Camp Hollis a website for Camp Hollis. It will be interesting working with an actual client. I hope to create a professional and appealing site for Camp Hollis.
Weather…I hate it!
Why does the wind have to blow? Why does it have to snow ALL THE TIME? Why does it have to rain? Why does Oswego tease everyone? It was 60 degrees, snow melting one day and then next day an ice storm???? I want to go back to to Owego (yeah, Oswego without the “s”) but Owego without the “s” has atleast a little bit normal weather pattern…and I didn’t think so until I came here!

So these are my feet. No so attractive really but yeah…
There is actually a story behind this photo. It happened to be the day I got engaged at Taughannock Falls (it is right near the south west part of Cayuga Lake) and I love going there every summer. There happens to be a state park across from the falls where you can go swimming in the lake but I decided to just stick my feet in!

So I decided to make a blog instead of putting facebook on my web page because you know really…I didn’t want nosy people (possibly like me) looking at my facebook when I most likely won’t be able to look at their’s SO THERE!
